It is the main financial centre of the city of Lima and where our hotel is located. The main banks of the city are located here, as well as 57 embassies. It has several green areas and buildings with great cultural value.
El Olivar Park
This public park in the center of the district of San Isidro is the main green area of the city. It is declared as an area of environmental conservation and is perfect to stroll around. You will see several species of trees, mainly olives, and birds.
Temple Radicate Library-Museum Foundation
The foundation was created with the object in mind of being a Center of High Peruvian Studies and Investigations and is part of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Its headquarters are located in what once was the house of its founder, Ella Dunbar Temple Aguilar, and they organize and promote several cultural activities and events.
Huacas
In San Isidro are located the archaeological remains of Huaca Huallamarca and Huaca Santa Cruz. Both of them are pre-Hispanic constructions that reflect the importance of the Lima and Ychsma cultures in the city.

Lima's Main Square
Is also known with the name of Plaza de Armas, it represents the main public area of the city and it was the place where Lima was founded. In its surroundings there are several political, religious and historical buildings.
Lima's Cathedral
The Basilica Cathedral of Lima is located on the East side of the Main Square of the city. The Cathedral is built with Renaissance style, but other architectonical styles appear in its façade and interior as well.
Archiepiscopal's Lima palace
With Neoplateresque entrance hall and Neobaroque balconies. The Palace was the residence of the archbishop of Lima and the administrative headquarters of Lima’s Archdioceses. Nowadays, it is open to the public and serves as an archiepiscopal museum.
Church of Saint Domingo
The Church of Saint Domingo is part of the architectonical complex of the Basilica and Maximus Convent of Nuestra Señora del Rosario. The church is built with Rococo and Mudéjar styles and inside there are several images along with the tombs of St. Martin de Porres, St. Rose of Lima and St. John Macias.
Convent of Saint Francisco
It belongs to the architectonical complex of the Basilica and Convent of Saint Francisco de Lima. The building was founded in 1774 even though the construction work started back in 1535 when the city was founded. An earthquake tore the building down in 1655, which slowed down its building.

It is one of the biggest museums of Peru. In its four floors there are thousands of pieces and artifacts exhibited, belonging to different cultures and epochs of the history of the country.
National Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History
In this museum there is a wide variety of objects and materials with great historical and artistic value.
Is the headquarters of the National State Museums System which main mission is to preserve the artistic Peruvian patrimony.
Archeological Museum Rafael Larco Herrera
3000 years of pre-Columbian historical development in Peru are exhibited in its room. Visitors can go through its deposits and take a look at the 45 thousand pieces that are part of the collection.
Art Museum of Lima
It is one of the most visited museums of the city. Its collection holds more than 17 thousand art pieces of Peruvian art from the pre-Columbian, colonial and republican eras.
